'GoogleZon' the future of media technology

Since the first newspaper published the media world as people have known it has changed, particuarly over the last decade, we now have the internet with sites such as Google and Amazon the internet has revolutionised the way the media is published.
Since they were published the newspapers have been slowly depreciating, there is no longer a real need for newspapers, now with the simple click of a ouse you can get onto a news page on the internet and check the local an worldwide news whenever you want and because the internet isnt a hard copy like newspapers the latest news is added constantly meaning that you dont have to wait untill the next day to get 'todays news' but you can pick it up whenever u want online at such sites as www.bbc.co.uk/news.
A lot of the newspaper companies have picked up on this an also run a web page as well as their newspaper.

New sites such as Blogger have enabled the public to create their own media, they can comment on the news allowing the people to have their say about the news.
The media is changing, maybe not for the good but never the less it is changing, the media is more personalised with everyone allowing to make their own blogs news can be whatever you want it to be. A lot of the sites are run by what their users are commenting allowing a lot of personalisation of the news.
The big web giants such as Microsoft and Google have began buying up a lot of the smaller companies like blogger and tivo, this allows them to broadcast their news on a much wider scale reaching a lot more people and getting a lot more people to participate in their news.
There is a worry that the media will become too personalised and news will be overun with sensationalist stories and personalised (biased) stories with the news never being impartial, others would argue that the news is already in such a state that a lot of papers are too biased and populist, more trying to win over the people and attract consumers ( more money) i think this could possibly be said about some of the 'Populist Tabloids' like The Sun.
